What we know as a wedding report has experienced a considerable transformation over time. Gone are the inns and today, bridal photography bets on creativity, naturalness and immortalizing the emotions of that special day.
For some years now what we know as a wedding report has undergone a remarkable transformation. Gone are those sweetened photos of the bride and groom posing and kissing in an idyllic place (possibly a beautiful park or a pompous building of recognizable architecture), and became common in the 80's and 90's of the last century. Times change and, today, the bride and groom ask for something more to the photographer who is going to put behind the objective of a camera to immortalize the one that is one of the most important days of their lives. And that something has a lot to do with creativity, with the ability to know how to capture emotions, with the fact of exercising, on many occasions, a certain photojournalism that leads to images that are fresher, more spontaneous, but also with an essential quality. It helps to know perfectly the handling of light and the creative wedding photography technique to try to elevate the image to the category of art. In your photographs, there is a somewhat special 'mix.' On the one hand, the chronicle of a day in the life of a couple (pure and hard photojournalism). On the other side, a poetic touch that is noticed, for example, in a look, in the gesture of one of the characters that make up the story of that day, in the stage you choose for the photo. How do you approach the different jobs that you are commissioned? The good thing about weddings is that they all have a similar chronology and timing. We have this so internalized that we can anticipate situations that allow us to capture spontaneous and different moments. On the day of the wedding, we played with the real scenes taking the biggest possible aesthetic party. For this, light plays a fundamental role. What things should the wedding photographer take into account so that the image is not 'sappy' or tacky? In a good photo, less is always more. Our couples want naturalness and truth in their wedding reports. No frills or elements recharged. What have things changed about the photographic wedding reports that were made a few years ago? The form of work. We have evolved from the forced posture to the professional weddingphotography. Emotion has been incorporated as a new element highly valued by the bride and groom. What does a couple want right now when hiring a photographer for their wedding day? Are people still who prefer the typical lifelong inns for their photo album or dare to ask for 'something different'? There will be everything but couples who come to us the first thing they tell us is that they do not want to pose. They look before all naturalness and photos of moments, not forced.
